1-Day Morphology update for Biomedical Scientists and 1st Year SpRs

This course, which includes lectures and microscopy (mainly blood films), is suitable for BMSs and haematology trainees in the first year of their training. 60 places.
The cost is £100 (including a light lunch and CD) (if CD not needed, e.g. because 2 people attending from one department, please delete £10) CPD approval requested from IBMS.
1-Day Course in Laboratory Aspects of Haemoglobinopathy Diagnosis

This course which includes lectures, microscopy and interpretation of haemoglobin electrophoretic strips and HPLC plots, is suitable for consultants and other career grade post holders in haematology, trainees in haematology and BMS with some previous experience in the field. 60 places, CPD approved (7 credits).
The cost is £100 including a light lunch (£90 if CD is not required).
2-Day Course in Advanced Haematology Morphology
Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 September 2010 at Hammersmith Hospital
Lecturers: Prof B J Bain, Dr Sasha Marks, Dr S. H. Abdalla, Dr M Layton.
This course is appropriate for consultant haematologists, staff grade haematologists and advanced trainees in haematology. 13 CPD credits. Cost £200 (or £190 if CD not needed) 47 places only.
1-Day Course in Histopathology of the Bone Marrow
Friday 10 September 2010 at Hammersmith Hospital

This course, which includes both lectures and work at individual microscopes, is suitable for consultants and other career grade post holders in haematology and histopathology and is also valuable for trainees in these disciplines. 47 places only. 7 CME credits. The cost is £110 including a light lunch (or £100 if CD not needed).
