Our laboratory uses an interdisciplinary approach that includes cellular immunology, genetic analysis and in vivo experimental models to seek greater understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms leading to the development of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), with the ultimate aim of translating the findings to clinical practice (Imperial AHSC Lupus Centre).
