There are a number of ongoing research projects including

1. Role of ethnicity in the development of renal disease (Dr Liz Lightstone and others)
2. Genetics of IgA nephropathy (Professor Patrick Maxwell and others)

3.  The importance of cytokines and adhesion molecules in the deterioration of peritoneal membrane function in peritoneal dialysis patients (Dr Tam, dr Edwina Brown and others).
