The UK-CRC-funded Centre is tackling the issue of healthcare acquired infection via a multidisciplinary approach that includes:
- organisational research
- social marketing
- epidemiology
- laboratory-based programmes
- education
The initiative, funded for 5 years, has at its core, collaborations with the Health Protection Agency (HPA) and the Imperial College Healthcare Trust .
The Centre also has collaborations across the College including with the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Business School.
