Work-stream 1 has been successful in securing £230K from NIHR/SDO for a two year study. The team, including Alison Holmes, Yiannis Kyratsis and Raheelah Ahmad will work alongside a newly appointed Research Assistant, Kyriakos Hatzaras.
The study will address questions such as; how managers make sense of evidence, the role evidence plays in management decision-making when adopting and implementing innovations in healthcare, and how wider contextual conditions and intra-organisational capacity influence research use and application by healthcare managers.
