Chris Chapman

Chris Chapman is collaborating with the Centre for Infection Prevention and Management by co-supervising the PhD of Anne Mottram, Director of Corporate Affairs and Governance at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Anne’s research into the organisational performance of Imperial College as an Academic Health Science Centre sits within work-stream 1 since its focus is organisational structures and practice.  However it is also an example of the aims that work-stream 4, “Capacity Building” is pursuing in providing academic training to NHS managers and other professional groups who are instrumental to the task of tackling Healthcare Associated Infection. 

Background

Chris Chapman is Professor of Management Accounting at Imperial College Business School.  He is an Associate Editor of Accounting, Organizations and Society, and sits on the editorial boards of Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Management Accounting Research,  Management Accounting Research and Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Journal. 

Chris is also a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management and Chairs the Institute’s Programme Development Group.
