Anticipated Outputs
- new uses of existing databases to enhance surveillance capability
- new predictive models to identify individuals at risk.
- More timely clinical interventions for groups identified as vulnerable

Aim: to extend the data available on infection and risk in the NHS. To establish predictors of readmission for MRSA and c.diff and to monitor at risk populations, prescribing practice and antibiotic resistance to facilitate the investigation of antibiotic strategies across primary and secondary care.
