Main terms of reference:

  • To evaluate new capital projects against the overall capital strategy for the Faculty.
  • To provide a single point of contact from Faculty for all Portfolio Review Board business communications: Specifically - to receive and consider, from Campus Deans all project brief documentation for new projects, making recommendations to Faculty Board for approval. Additionally to receive and consider all further Prince2 documentation on approved projects - prior to submission to PRB, identifying (where necessary) any issues which may require further discussion by Faculty Board.
  • To identify future space demands, consider potential supply and review the impact of consequential change to space allocation within the Faculty.
  • To consider other site related issues which may have pan-Faculty impact: identifying any potential issues of concern or opportunity in delivery of the Faculty’s academic vision for teaching and research for further discussion by Faculty Board.
  • To receive updates on high priority Health and Safety Issues arising from the campuses, identifying any issues of concern for communication to relevant Heads of SID, or Faculty Board (as appropriate).
