Dr Alison McMillan

Alison McMillan is a PhD student in the Sleep and Ventilation group at the National Heart and Lung Institute (NHLI).

She completed her undergraduate degree in Medicine at King’s College London.  Prior to commencing research she was working as a Specialist Registrar in Respiratory Medicine within the Eastern Deanery.

Alison is currently researching the effects of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure treatment in older people with obstructive sleep apnoea.  Her special interest is the cognitive function and brain morphology in older people with obstructive sleep apnoea.
