Dr Ariane Blum

Ariane Blum started in May 2009 as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in  the team of Professor Schneider at National Heart and Lung Institute,  Imperial College London.

Dr Blum obtained her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the  Doctoral School of Chemistry and Life Sciences, Joseph Fourier  University, Grenoble (France) in May 2007, after a study of the  Plasmacytoid dendritic cells in cancer through the role of TRAIL (TNF- Related Apoptosis-Inducing Ligand).

She currently works on the function and therapeutic implications of  telomerase in adult cardiac progenitor cells.
