Chien-Nien Chen

Chien-Nien Chen is a medical doctor, awarded his MD from National Taiwan University in 2007. He has been a PhD student within the Cardiovascular group in the Centre for Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Division of Experimental Medicine, under the supervision of Dr Lan Zhao, Professor Martin Wilkins and Dr Nabil Hajji from 2008.

The interest of research is to investigate the role of epigenetics, especially histone acetylation, in the pathogenesis of pulmonary arterial hypertension and to seek for the therapeutic potential of epigenetic intervention on the basis of in vivo models.
