Mr Christopher D Harris

Chris Harris joined the Faculty Education Office (Medicine) in August 2011.  He leads a small team within the FEO with responsibility for measuring and improving quality in the undergraduate Medicine programme.  He is also Secretary to the College's Medical Studies Committee.

Chris previously spent four-and-a-half years at the Hammersmith campus where he held a series of education posts, eventually becoming Education Manager in the Department of Medicine.  There, he managed a team of 14 and oversaw the Department's commitments to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Chris studied at the University of York where he took a first in Languages (French) and Linguistics followed by a distinction in his MA by research into the history of English syntax.  In 2011 he followed a CMI Diploma in Management course.  Since 2007, he has also provided editorial support to the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. 

In 2011, Chris was awarded one of the inaugural Rector's Awards for excellence in Supporting the Student Experience.
