Mr Christopher I Powell

I work as the Computer Scientist in the group of Dr David Aanensen. My main focus is the further development of a web application for MRSA/MSSA within Addenbrookes hospital. A UKCRC funded Cambridge Transitional Microbiology project in collaboration with Professor Sharon Peacock at the University of Cambridge, Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and the Pathogen Sequencing Unit at the Sanger Institute. I am also part of the team developing EpiCollect, coding the server component of the system.

I have a BSc (Hons) in Internet Computing and an MSc in Autonomous systems from the University of Exeter and my previous work experience has included management information systems handling financial and contractual information, collecting and collating data from remote sensors and remote management of server systems.
