Dr David J Coe
In 2001, I gained a Bsc in Biochemistry from ImperialCollege,London. In 2002-3 I studied at Nottingham Trent University and Tubingen Univesity to gain an Msc in Biomedical Science. In November of 2003 I joined the Transplantation Biology group as a research assistant. I moved with the group when they joined Imperial College on the same campus in 2005. In 2007 I started a PhD in Tumour Immunology which I completed in March, 2011.
Throughout my time working with Dr. Jian-Guo Chai in the Transplantation Biology Group we have used the HY system of transplantation tolerence to study the interactions between T cells and grafted tissues and later between T cells and tumours.
