Dr Debbie C Lee

Debbie C  Lee is a Research Associate at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial college London.

Debbie studied for her degree in Molecular Biology at Queen Mary University of London.  Subsequently, she spent a year at St George’s University of London working in the Oncology Department on cancer immunotherapies, before moving to a biopharmaceutical company, Oxford BioMedica. 

Debbie obtained her PhD in Medicine from Imperial College London, studying the regulation of immune responses and viral persistence in respiratory syncytial virus infection.

In her current post, Debbie is working with Professor Clare Lloyd in Leukocyte Biology on a GlaxoSmithKline sponsored project.  She is studying murine models of asthma with a particular focus on microRNAs.
