Ms Floor E Aleva

Floor is a medical student at Radboud University Nijmegen (The Netherlands), in her fifth year of a six year Doctoral Programme. In addition to her study of Medicine, she has worked on several projects mostly concerning patients with cancer, some of which are more fundamental (Sporadic Colorectal cancer and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma) and some of which are more applicable in clinical practice (Quality improvement in oncology).

She works at Imperial College Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality as a visiting researcher on a research project to review literature on feedback strategies. This project is based on a co-operation between the Scientific Institute for Quality of Healthcare (Radboud University Medical Centre) and CPSSQ (Imperial College Healthcare). She is involved in an Honours programme from her University that is called 'Beyond the Frontiers' and she received a grant to further her knowledge on quality improvements initiatives at Imperial College.

Her specific areas of interest include quality improvement initiatives, infectious diseases and oncology.
