Miss Gaynor A Campbell
Gaynor Campbell is a Research Assistant at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.
She is currently funded by Asthma UK on a project investigating TGF-beta superfamily control of airway wall remodelling in asthma, under the guidance of Professor Clare Lloyd and Dr. Sejal Saglani.
Gaynor studied for her degree in Immunology at the University of Glasgow. Following this, she completed a Masters by Research at the University of Edinburgh in Bio-inorganic Chemistry, looking at removal of proteinaceous contamination from surgical instruments using radio-frequency gas plasma technology. Gaynor recently completed her PhD at the University of Manchester, where she investigated the role of TGF-β2 in airway remodelling as part of the Respiratory Translational Medicine group.
