Mrs Hadia Azhar

Hadia Azhar is Database Manager within the Respiratory Epidemiology and Public Health research group at the National Heart and Lung Institute.

Hadia is an IT professional with over five years of experience of design, management and quality control of database systems and applications.  She is an expert in data capture and acquisition across a range of platforms and technologies.

Hadia joined Imperial College London in 2009 and is now responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, data management procedures for monitoring data quality, data acquisition  and cleaning/processing data that will be received from various collaborating centres of the Burden of Lung Disease Study (BOLD); a global initiative looking at the prevalence of COPD and the distribution of its risk factors.
