Research Interests
Fetal programming of the cardiovascular system: exploring outcomes of the effect of the intrauterine environment and perinatal management in behaviour of the vasculature in childhood and young adulthood.
The understanding of the association between sub-optimal neurodevelopmental attainment and congenital heart disease and the development of individual management strategies to address this.
Using monochorionicity and twin to twin transfusion syndrome as models to examine the effects on the cardiovascular and neurodevelopment of intrauterine vascular and neuro-endocrine stressors on genetically identical individuals.
