Dr James Stone

Dr Stone trained in Psychiatry at Cambridge and at the Maudsley Hospital. Between 2001 and 2009 he was involved in neuropsychopharmacology and molecular imaging research at the Institute of Psychiatry.

In October 2009 he was appointed as Clinical Senior Lecturer in Biological Psychiatry at Imperial College London. His main areas of research at present include studying the neurochemical determinants of transition to psychosis, investigating non-response to antipsychotic medication in first episode schizophrenia, and probing the neurochemical basis of psychosis.
