Professor Ken Haynes

The Haynes group at Imperial is interested in understanding the molecular basis of fungal virulence. Our research focuses on the pathogens Candida glabrata and Aspergillus fumigatus. In addition we are utilising two model fungi, Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Aspergillus nidulans, to investigate basic processes (e.g. cell separation and pH sensing) that can inform our virulence analyses.
