Dr Keng Wooi Ng
Keng Wooi Ng joined the National Heart and Lung Institute as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in 2010.
He is actively involved in the Control of Hyperglycaemic in Paediatric Intensive Care (CHiP) trial, which investigates the cellular and molecular mechanisms by which glucose control improves inflammatory and metabolic dysfunction in critically ill children.
He has a MPharm degree and PhD from Cardiff University. During his PhD, he investigated the pharmaceutical and pharmacological aspects of cutaneous genetic vaccination against hepatitis B, using in vitro cellular models and ex vivo human tissues, targeting epidermal Langerhans cells.
