Dr. Kate C Tatham

I am currently a Clinical Research Fellow in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Imperial College and a specialty registrar 5 in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, Imperial School of Anaesthesia, London Deanery.

I am also the Imperial school academic representative and interim chair of the London Academy of Anaesthesia trainee group and a co-organiser of the trainee-led periopresearch.com group, arranging annual conferences to raise the profile of perioperative research across London and the Southeast. 

My current research interest is the mechanisms of transplant-related acute lung injury, specifically the interaction between leukocytes and the endothelium. I recenty commenced a PhD after being awarded an Imperial-Wellcome Clinical Research Fellowship, and will continue to be based in the Critical Care Resarch Group at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital campus.
