Professor Phillip R Bennett

Phillip Bennett is clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Honorary Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust at Queen Charlottes and Hammersmith Hospitals. He co-directs the Imperial College Parturition Research Group, with Professor Mark Johnson. His principal research interests are the biochemistry and endocrinology of human term and preterm labour and the prediction and prevention of preterm birth.

Professor Bennett is Director of Postgraduate Studies for the Department of Surgery and Cancer, Clinical Academic Training Lead in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust and NW Thames Deanery), and Imperial Biomedical Research Centre Theme Lead for Women's Health.
