Dr Rekha V Badiger

Rekha Badiger is a specialist registrar in Respiratory Medicine and her area of interest is pulmonary hypertension. After completing 4 years of her clinical SpR training, Dr Badiger joined Professor Mitchell's group in Cardiothoracic Pharmacology to study how pulmonary vascular cells respond to pathogens and to study the potential role of Toll-like receptors in these responses.

She is currently undertaking a PhD and has been awarded a Clinical Research Training Fellowship from the British Heart Foundation.
