Dr Steven Reid

Steven has been working at the CD4 Initiative since early 2006 after having left a UK-based diagnostics company.  Prior to this Steven completed his PhD in Immunology and several years' post-doctoral work.

Steven's interests are diagnostics in global health in HIV, TB and other disease affecting those living in low-income countries.

The CD4 Initiative is a Bill & Melinda Gates funded project to develop low-cost, rapid and robust point-of-care diagnostics for those living with HIV/AIDS in low-income countries.  For further information, please go to www.imperial.ac.uk/medicine/cd4.
