Miss Simone Walker
Simone A Walker is a Research Technician in the Luekocye Biology section of the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London.
Simone studied for her degree in Pharmacology at King's College London. Following this she studied towards a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at The Institue of Cancer Research, University of London.
In her current post, working with Professor Clare Lloyd, Simone provides a specialist service measuring and analysing lung function parameters, in vivo, for members of the Lloyd group, as well as for other teams in the MRC-Asthma UK Centre for Asthma and Allergy and external collabarators.
Simone is also interested in using flow cytometry to indentify and isolate the immune cells involved in Asthma.
