Susan Farrell

Susan Farrell works for the Centre for Infection Prevention and Management (CIPM) as Education Co-ordinator and is based at the Hammersmith Campus.

As co-ordinator for Workstream 4, she develops educational courses and training to develop a skilled academic, clinical scientific and medical workforce to deliver clinical care, research and leadership in infection prevention. 

With an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a MSc in Applied Research Methods from Dundee University, she has a backgound in postgraduate medical training having previously worked for the Cuschieri Skills Centre in Dundee training surgeons and other healthcare professionals and also for NHS Education for Scotland co-ordinating the Foundation Programme for junior doctors. 

She is currently working towards her Masters in Public Health and will be completing a research project with CIPM.
