Mr Timothy Oates

Tim joined the Airway inflammation and remodelling group in 2008  as a Research Technician.

With his expertise in immunocytochemistry he has been contributing to the group research projects regarding the pathology of difficult childhood asthma, and of infant and pre-school wheeze. This has involved applying immunocytochemical techniques to characterise airway remodelling and inflammatory cell response.

In future work Tim hopes to develop further his knowledge of the inflammatory cell response in airway disease and at the same time expand his technical expertise
