Dr Vias Markides

Dr Vias Markides qualified in 1992 from St Mary's Hospital Medical School and Imperial College, London, having been awarded the University of London Gold Medal. He trained in Cardiology at St Mary's, St Thomas' and Hammersmith Hospitals.

He was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust in 2002. He has led the arrhythmia service since 2005 and currently holds the position of Arrhythmia Chair.
