Dr Weihua Song

Dr Song was trained in Manchester University on Cardiovascular Pharmacology and is currently working as a Post-Doc researcher in Professor Steven Marston's lab on cardiomyopathies induced by mutations on contractile proteins.

Weihua is trying to confirm that the transgenic mouse models in his lab are able to replicate phenotypes in human patients carrying the same mutations, and using the models to investigate etiology and better treatments.

Dr Song is a member of ISHR, ESC, BSCR and the Physiology Society.
