Statistical Advisory Service
The Statistical Advisory Service was set up primarily to help staff and postgraduate students working in Imperial College with advice, support and practical help in carrying out research, writing grant applications and providing specialised research training in statistical methods and software.
The service may also provide statistical help to public bodies and private companies on a commercial basis.
Among the help on offer is:
- Statistical consultancy
- Beginner, intermediate and advanced statistical advice
- Advice on study/questionnaire design
- Assistance with grant and ethics committee applications
- Training in specific aspects of research methodology
- Training in statistical software
- Advice on getting research published
