Headed by Professor Paul Farrell, the Section plays a leading role in research in virology and cell biology. Virology undergraduate teaching is also provided by this Section.

PhD studentships 2012

The Virology Section   participates in  the Wellcome Trust,  the MRC and the PR China funded  Imperial College PhD student schemes.  Deadline for applications is 3rd January 2012. Applicants are encouraged to choose a supervisor in this section.
