RF Safety and Diagnostics

The group’s general interests lie in diagnostic application of RF fields and related safety issues.  Topics covered include:

• development of MEMS coils for MRI applications (with Prof R Syms, Electrical Engineering),
• development of medical diagnostic applications of wideband microwave techniques
• investigation of RF safety during MRI procedures, particularly with regard to pregnant patients
