Specialty Talks

This monthly series invites a health professional to talk about their specialty, highlighting what made them decide to specialise in that area and what are the potential career pathways.  

Each talk is followed by a question and answer session and open discussion. 

The atmosphere is informal, providing a unique opportunity to ask questions and learn more.  The talks series is based at Charing Cross Hospital. Talks commence at 6.00pm and the event lasts until around 8.00pm.

In 2011 the Specialty talks included :

Anaesthetics, Emergency Medicine, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Palliative Care, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Sport & Exercise Medicine,
