Infection - MSc | PG Dip | PG Cert

Closing date for applications is 21st May 2012. For applications received requiring a special qualifying exam this exam will take place in July, specific date TBC.
This programme is a part-time, two-year course organised by the Department of Infectious Diseases and Immunity in conjunction with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
This new programme is designed to give nurses, allied health professionals and healthcare managers:
- an overview of infection and infectious diseases
- the management of infection
- general management and research skills

Graduates of the course can expect to have obtained a full understanding of the key issues surrounding the management of infection in today's healthcare environment.

Entry Requirements
Applications will be welcomed from those holding a good bachelors degree (normally an upper second class degree or above) in Nursing, another health profession, or an equivalent degree from a UK/EU university.
Students with a Nursing diploma with substantial work experience may also be considered. Any such applicants will be subject to a special qualifying examination (administered by the Division) including an interview to assess academic potential for completing the course.
