Professor Nish Chaturvedi, Principal Investigator
Dr Darrel Francis, Principal Investigator
Professor Alun Hughes, Principal Investigator
Professor Jamil Mayet, Principal Investigator
Professor Simon Thom, Principal Investigator

The Hypertension & Circulation group undertakes a wide range of studies that explores the origins and consequences of cardiovascular disease related to hypertension, atherosclerosis, diabetes, ethnicity and the lifecourse. All the Principal Investigators are members of the International Centre for Circulatory Health collaboration and the British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence; Professor Chaturvedi is also the Associate Director of the UK Diabetes Research Network and Professor Thom is the clinical lead of the North West London Diabetes Research Network. The group also has a major interest in the application of biomedical engineering, fluid dynamics and computational techniques to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
