The Section of Allergy and Clinical Immunology is focused on translational research from basic molecular and cellular immunology in human and experimental models through to clinical trials of novel therapeutics in patients.

Professor Stephen Durham

Key focus is on respiratory disease and their treatment. The spectrum of projects ranges from molecular biology, cellular immunology and clinical immunology / allergology. The department is exquisitely equipped and translates basic science into clinical application.

The research team under Professor Stephen Durham has a track record for clinical allergy studies, which are aiming for long lasting treatments with sustained therapeutic effects.
