Cellular Immunology

Headed by Dr. Stephen Till, the group is identifying immunodominant T lymphocyte epitopes in major grass pollen allergens with a view to tracking allergen-specific cells and developing novel allergy vaccines. 

Related interests include the immunologic effects of established treatments such as immunotherapy and the development of novel assays for diagnosing allergy and monitoring treatment response.  These studies primarily involve characterisation of human T lymphocyte responses in cell-based in vitro assays.
