Large screen presentations from computer.
Please bring your presentation on a USB - Memory Stick or CD/DVD-Rom, or alternately you can email us your file (up to 10Mb).
We would prefer speakers not to use laptops unless using specialized software as they cause disruption between talks. If you bring a laptop and are using PowerPoint, your presentation will be transferred to our main computer.
Video Clips: When creating a PowerPoint presentation that contains video clips, start by creating a new folder. This folder must contain the Presentation and all video clips.
When you copy your presentation to CD or USB copy that folder.
Try out your presentation on a computer other than the one you created it on.
Users' programs can be loaded onto our computers only with prior consent.
The computer has up to date software including Microsoft Office 2007, plus Internet access through the Imperial College network.
Small work can be demonstrated onto the main screen via a video camera - however advance notice is needed.
