How to apply

This programme provides a comprehensive introduction to public health for students intending to practice in public health or related fields. It offers a cutting edge knowledge and skills base for both non-medical and medically qualified students.

It is particularly suited to students who wish to pursue a career in public health research or public health management based on quantitative analytical skills.

Objectives

Imperial College is one of the world’s leading research universities. Students will have the opportunity to learn public health skills from eminent academics, a large PhD cohort and an active academic seminar programme.

Teachers are drawn from research groups leading international level research on infectious diseases, chronic diseases like cancer, cardiovascular and diabetes and genetic, environmental and spatial epidemiology and statistics. The course tutors also include colleagues active in health services research with access to large databases, management colleagues at Imperial College Business School and  public health specialists.
