WinBUGS
The development of advanced software (WinBugs and GeoBugs) and its diffusion to the scientific community that is carried out at Imperial, has contributed significantly to successful interactions and recognition of Bayesian methods and hierarchical model building by the statistical and epidemiological community. An MRC funded project to extend the WinBugs package to applications in genetic epidemiology is under way.
