Global Burden of Metabolic Risk Factors of Chronic Diseases
The Global Burden of Metabolic Risk Factors of Chronic Diseases Collaborating Group is a worldwide network of clinical and public health researchers and practitioners that has collated a unique dataset on the following risk factors:
- Body mass index (BMI)
- Blood pressure
- Serum cholesterol
- Fasting plasma glucose
- Diabetes
We have developed and applied novel statistical methods for estimating national, regional, and global trends.
The Global Burden of Metabolic Risk Factors of Chronic Diseases Collaborating Group welcomes new members. You can provide data on metabolic risk factors using the Metabolic Risk Factors - Data Collection Form 
and sending the completed forms to gbdmetabolicrisks@gmail.com.
