Directed by Professor Christophe Fraser and Dr Tom Churcher, this short course introduces public-health professionals, policy-makers, and medical and veterinary researchers to the mathematical, statistical and computational techniques employed to investigate the epidemiology and control of infectious diseases. The course includes HIV, TB, malaria, pandemic influenza, foot-and-mouth disease, SARS, health economics, vaccination programmes, stochastic models and more.
