Award of MSc in Modern Epidemiology

The award of MSc normally requires at least 50% for each of the three elements.

The award of ‘MSc with Merit’ normally requires at least 60% for each of the three elements

The award of ‘MSc with Distinction’ normally requires at least 70% for each of the three elements.

Note: the Board of Examiners may take a candidate’s class attendance records into account when making decisions about awards.

Revision and re-submission of the dissertation, re-submission of mini-projects and re-sits of the examinations are allowed one year later at the discretion of the Board of Examiners. The maximum mark that can be allocated on passing at retake is 50%.
