Microbiology Laboratories: Imperial College Healthcare Trust

The Imperial College Healthcare Trust Microbiology Laboratories are collaborating with the Centre through work-stream 2 “a network for clinical infectious diseases”. The laboratories, which provide a full range of diagnostic services including bacterial culture, serological investigations, TB studies, parasite identification and mycological services, will be providing clinical samples and posing clinical questions based on the strains Staphylococcus aureus and Clostridum difficile they see.

 The main point of contact with the Laboratories is via Kathy Bamford who is also one of the leads for work-stream 2.  However, other members of the Microbiology Service are also involved.
