Dr Alexander Hammers
I am a Neurologist with a strong interest in imaging. I have recently accepted a Chair in Functional Neuroimaging with the Fondation Neurodis in Lyon, France, but remain a Visiting Reader with Imperial College London, based at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre in Hammersmith Hospital. I visit regularly for supervision and collaboration.
My clinical activity is in the epilepsies. My research interests lie in imaging: quantitative ligand PET studies in the epilepsies, and structural MRI studies in the epilepsies and beyond. More information can be found on the Epilepsy Imaging page and on the PET Epilepsy page at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre.
