I have an interest in the pathophysiology and basic mechanisms of pulmonary inflammation within critical care disease states. I am currently undertaking a PhD on the Imperial College Wellcome Trust Clinical PhD programme.

Within the critical care group at Chelsea and Westminister Hospital, I am specifically investigating the roles of tumor necrosis factor receptors and mononuclear phagocyte mediated inflammation in lung injury. My research will hope to extend these findings to look at the how these receptors may influence not only inflammation but also resolution of lung inflammation in these states.
