Dr Sarah Perkins

Sarah joined Imperial College in August 2009 as the Research Strategy Manager for the Faculty of Medicine. Prior to this appointment she worked as a Programme Manager and latterly Strategy and Planning Manager for the Medical Research Council (MRC). Sarah read Pharmacology at university and completed her PhD in Oncology in 2002 at the MRC Toxicology Unit, Leicester.

Sarah’s role is to support the central Faculty in developing strategic research initiatives and manage the implementation of the Faculty’s research strategy. In addition, she is responsible for coordinating major bids for research funding within the Faculty and provides secretariat support for the Faculty’s research committees.
