The Faculty of Medicine is offering 14 scholarships for students starting full-time or part-time Master's courses in October 2014

  • The deadline for Faculty of Medicine Master's Degree Scholarship applications for the 2014/15 academic year has now passed. No further applications will be accepted.
  • Applicants will be given a decision by 31 May 2014.

Applications are invited from outstanding candidates from Imperial College London, the UK and worldwide who have the potential to become leaders in their field. There are no restrictions on nationality. Two levels of scholarship are available:

Dean's Master's Scholarships

Full tuition fees and a stipend of £17,500. Four are available, two for Home/EU students and two for Overseas students.

Faculty Master's Scholarships

Stipend of £17,500 that may be used flexibly, either towards cost of living expenses of tuition fees. Ten are available and are open to both Home/EU and Overseas students.

Candidates can apply for one or both scholarship schemes. Stipends will be paid in two instalments, subject to satisfactory progression. For PG Cert course awardees, one third of the stipend will be paid on registration for the PG Cert, and the remaining two-thirds on registration for the Master’s degree.

The Faculty offers a wide range of Master's degree courses, as well as PG Certificates and Diplomas, and all students will belong to the Graduate School, which provides a comprehensive Transferable Skills Programme.

Please see the 'How to Apply' section for further information and the application form. For any queries not covered here, please email James Osborne (PGT Administrator, Faculty of Medicine) at james.osborne@imperial.ac.uk.

Please note that there may be other scholarships offered by Schools, Institutes and Departments that make up the Faculty of Medicine. These are separate from the Dean's and Faculty Master's Scholarships described here and entail a different application process. For other such scholarships, please see our scholarships page.

Please ensure you read our eligibility criteria before making an application.  Exceptions cannot be made to these criteria so please check them carefully.
